When it rains, it pours, at least in California.

This week, the golden state, and most of the coast, were pummeled with rain and even snow, flooding streets and towns up and down the state. The upside of this, is that this signifies the end of a long drought, filling up reservoirs and replenishing snow pack in the mountains.

But that’s not the only thing California has gotten too much of. This week Los Angeles. announced that not only did the Rams pack up and head to Beverly Hills last season, but now the San Diego Chargers have decided to move in as well, which amounts to a different kind of flood — a flood of crappy football.

From a marketing perspective, the Chargers released their attempt at a new logo for the LA chargers, which was immediately shamed by the internet. It featured The letters L and A, interlocked, with a lightning bolt shooting off from the L. (Suspiciously simila to the LA Dodgers application) and graphic designers everywhere had a field day adding the letters M and E after the first too letters, or making the new logo spell LOL.

The Chargers tweeted out that it was “just a marketing logo,” which is code for “JK. Back to the drawing board.”

What will the next season bring for LA? Probably not a flood of fans, as Chargers fans were recorded dumping their Charger gear in piles outside the stadium. On a positive note, LA, which is known for its homeless problem, now sports some of the best dressed vagrants in the country.
